| Which is kinda true because I tend to forget the things I've done in the past, and photos kinda help me remember. Since Ly blogged about his summer he reminded me that I should blog too since it's been like a month since I last blogged. So right now I'm in my Davis apartment. I moved in last Monday and got to know Kuya Marc! Victor moved in last Thursday and things were just chill since everyone's doing their own thing. Marc gave me some cooking lessons! The first night we made fried tofu & caramelized chicken, the 2nd night we made fried rice & grilled cheese sandwiches while watching Blades of Glory, and the 4th night we made spicy curry and beef potstickers! =) yummm! Wednesday night I went out with Kevin, Jason, Leo & David to go bowling at the MU and walked around at night at Death Star. It was hella scary! It's Saturday right now and Donna, Ruby & Harlow are gonna move in =) YAY! Ly and the other SLz peeps are already moving into their dorms.
mkaayy, from where I last left off:
8/1- Japantown&Chinatown with Susan, Justin, Kevin & Jason. We walked from BART all the way to Japantown. It was super tiring! We walked around and took our very first Purikura together! We then walked to the Apple Store, Union Square and then a hotel just to ride the elevator to its highest level. It was hella scary! We walked to Chinatown and then went home.
8/9- Pistahan Festival @ Yerba Buena Garden & Treasure Island. I didn't really have that much fun since there wasn't anything interesting to see. We went to church and ate at Jollibee's for dinner. Then went to Treasure Island to look at the view and take pictures.
8/11- Japantown with Carol, Jared & Hannah. I haven't seen Carol for like 3 years already! Instead of taking studio pictures, we took Purikuras together! Of course we had group ones too. We went around shopping for gifts. She bought me a Hello Kitty donut necklace and I bought her an angel wing blue bear charm! We ate at a Japanese restaurant and had cold soba and sushi. It took hours for me to get home because Carol had to get dropped off to her in-law's house. We went a huuuge circle. I seriously should have taken BART home. lol Jared is part of a church community that's near my place so it's pretty cool!
8/13 - 8/14- Yosemite Family Trip. The 2 day trip was nice. We had to wake up early in the morning just to pack and get ready. The ride took about 3 hours I think? It was hella boring and hot. I took some videos since it's our 2nd family trip. We got there and drove around to look at the views. We hiked and saw some popular attractions. We got ourselves a campsite! We saw some waterfalls, a bear cub, some rivers and other things. It was also my first time sleeping in a tent since 24 hour Relay didn't really count. haha the next day we went to the gift shop and then went home.
8/31- Got my Driver's License. It was the scariest thing ever! I got this filipino lady and her face was like =| the whole time. I did pretty well for the most part. I made one mistake where she had to yell at me. I got really scared =( But other than that, I still passed! My heart was still pounding even after I went home. I was so relieved! Ohh not to mention I had the most "likes" and comments on my facebook status because of this :)
9/1- Visited my Apartment. That night my dad and I had to go to Davis to drop off my desk and bed at my apartment. When we got there, the air was so hot even at night! JC, BJ & Robert were kind enough to help my dad move my desk and bed to the apartment. And Ruby helped me carry all the small things. They were a big help! Oh and it was also Marc's birthday but I couldn't meet him because he was out with his friends partying.
9/8- My new sewing hobby. This summer I was introduced to Kpop because of Sandara in her new group 2NE1. I'm a huuugge fan of them now :) And because of them I started listening to Big Bang, Wondergirls, SNSD & Brown Eyed Girls and now I can't get enough. haha Anyways, I started liking Dara's stuffed bunny, TamTam and I decided to make my own! ^__^ I used the old "Kirby" fabric from years ago and made my own TamTam. I still don't know what to name her yet, but I'll think of one sooner or later. She will be my good luck charm and will stay with me this school year~ I'm now making more plushies!
9/13- Daly City| Giants| Pacquiao VS Cotto Press Conference. The day before I moved in my family and I went to Daly City's Daiso to buy last minute things for my apartment. Then afterwards we went to SF for the Pacman/Cotto press conference which was after the Giants game. The Giants won and then while everyone left we waited in this long as line for the conference. The gate opened and everyone was running to the stadium to take pictures of Pacquiao. Gosh it was raining!!! I got some good pictures and videos though. haha Then I treated everyone to McDonalds, went home and finished packing.
9/14- MOVE IN DAY!!! and YUP, that's about it. End of my summer and now time to start school next week!
Over all I think this summer was better than last years "going out-wise" But I've never felt so shitty in one summer my whole life. Too much crying, too much disappointment, too much negativity and too much problems... I was miserable most of the time but I'm glad for the friends who invite me to go out with them and make me forget about everything. I just wish I went out more. This year I hope to experience new things with my new roomies. (Of course I'll always think about my old roomies, and Laben 1 and Kevin!) I need to work hard this year... and make sure I make my family proud of me. Sometimes whenever i think about them, I get really sad and depressed and feel like crying. I hate knowing they have to endure pain and fear almost everyday and I can't do anything to make them feel better... I'll pray to God more that he'll watch over them for me and keep them safe. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? Why isn't it working for me? And it makes me worry because in order for it to happen, something BAD has to come my way and I don't want to know what it is...
Got to keep my head up high and do my best!

| hmmmm i haven't really been doing anything productive/interesting lately. haha Goshh I'm always so lazy! There's nothing to do around the house except sleeping and eating. haha Ughh I wish I can go out more =( Ly went to Davis orientation last week for 3 days! I thought I was gonna die. lol And my brother went to LA for the weekend to Disneyland! I was quite happy knowing that my parents gave him permission to go out haha. He was hella knocking on the door this morning when he came back. Everyone was asleep! lol And yeahhh. He bought me a Minnie Mouse headband!!! :D YAY! I shall take a picture of it tomorrow. lol Well this week I'm pretty sure I won't be doing anything interesting other than studying and going to school. My parents are trying to figure out where to go for our vacation next month. I somewhat don't want them to spend money on Disneyland since it's too expensive. I'd rather have them save money so my mom can go to the philippines to see her mom/my lola. =/ Sooo I don't really know. haha Next week will be the last week of summer school! (Aug 6) yayy! annddd yeahh. I'm so bored. ughh. Well I guess that's about it. Btw it's nice to read old xanga blogs =) haha mkaay byee

| heeellloooooo~ So last tuesday we got our art history midterm results back. I got a freakin 94% ! =D Yayy! Ohh how I wish Davis exams were this easy -___- I could easily breeze through college with straight A's =D hehe Buuut life sucks like that so oh well. haha That class is super borriinnggg. It's easy and all but I kinda wish the teacher had something more interesting to say other than just showing us slides and explaining the history of them. lol
Last Wednesday (July 15) was Katrina's 19th birthday partyyyy. That morning I went to the DMV to renew my permit since it expired last month. Now that I got it and everything, I tried to make an appointment for the driving test but found out that everything's fuuuuulll! D:< rawr. So I have to call again next time and hope someone cancels their appointment (which i highly doubt). Hopefully I can get my license before the end of next month and win my bet against Andy. -__-;; Anywayyy... that afternoon I drove to Katrina's and greeted everyone and the birthday girl. I pigged out on some food, sang Happy Birthday, played Apples to Apples, played videogames, hung out with Ly, took pictures and then sang karaoke. Super fun =]
Soooo I started reading Death Note this week. haha I'm such a fan of Alodia and Jin's cosplaying and Tricia's photography that they make me want to read the manga. It's actually pretty interesting and cool (aside from all the scary bloody deaths of course... lol) Right now I'm almost on chapter 38. There's 110 chapters in total LOL. I spent my whole day reading when I should be typing my 4 page essay for art history that's due next week! D: Buuut I know i'll get it done eventually. But I'll try to start tonight so I can get into the habit of doing things early. lol

July 11, 2009- Dan Neri's 19th Birthday!
Sooo Ly told me that everything started at 12. I came at 12:40 trying to figure out a good excuse to tell Dan why I was late.... turns out I was the first one there. wtf. haha He introduced me to his family and gave me a tour of his house while we were waiting for Ly and them to come :] They bought him McNuggets! I got Dan $$$ and my yellow heart-shaped... thing. haha The first 4 hours was just TV, karaoke & videogames. I think I have mild insomnia because I didn't sleep until 4 the night before so I was dozing off =/ Ly was too busy playing videogames to pay attention to me anyway =P just kidding. More people came and I saw Lyla's present from Dan, I thought it was heeelllaa cute. haha When the relatives/family friends started coming we all went to Dan's room where I witnessed Alex dancing/singing like crazy because he was drunk. haha It was so awkward >__> But he looked extremely happy so I guess that's okay? idk xD We then ate food outside, and I sat with Ly, Trang, Mike, Anna & Lyla/Brian. we were just talking about Davis and college in general. I STILL can't believe I'm gonna be a 2nd year college student @__@ & I have to take harder classes. UGHH... annndd yeah afterwards we all hung out in the living room just talking, taking pictures and what not. So I called Sanrio to check up on my resume and it turns out that they're not hiring anymore ='((( *dream job* I was so saaaad. Now I'm just gonna aim for Forever 21 or H&M, bleeeh. I need a job nooww! >=[ Oh and thank you to Dan's little cousin(?) for keeping me company when I needed it, she's so cute even though she screams too much =] ("WHERE'S THE CAT?!?!") We watched Dan get tazered and then we sang happy birthday! =) YAYYY! It was getting late so I had to go hommee. I said bye to everyone and went home. As usual, I couldn't sleep until 3 that night -___-
Sooo today I went to church. I was hella tired and hungryy! I saw Jasmine and Jazlyn and gave them their late birthday present. Their mom is gonna have another baby girl soon! 3 more weeks! =D I can't wait to meet her! I went home and took a long ass nap. As in... a 6 hour nap. =P And now I'm here typing this, filling our job apps, and reviewing again to renew my permit so I can take that driving test soon. lol
And Dan, Happy belated Birthday! Thanks for inviting me =) I haven't had this much fun in a looonng time! And I think this is the first time I've ever stayed at a party until it was dark. I didn't get in trouble for it either! =O Thanks for everything and I hope to see you again before we both leave for college!
